PROJECT STATEMENT
N.N. is a textile book and archive that reconfigures the medical epicrisis as a poetic and political territory. Born from a personal family experience with Alzheimer's, the artwork recreates clinical documents to overflow their technical language, restoring their tactility, fragility, and memory.


Through embroidery, writing, and stitching, the work shifts the disease into a social metaphor: a collective Alzheimer's that emerges in contexts marked by violence and corruption, where forgetting becomes a defense mechanism. Here, every stitch is an act of resistance against disappearance; every page, a body that remembers even when it forgets what it is writing.

This piece stands at the intersection of care, the common ground, and that which belongs to us—and must not, nor can, be forgotten.

ETYMOLOGY NOTE
 N.N. originates from the Latin phrase Nomen Nescio, which literally translates to "I do not know the name" or "unknown name." It is used to designate the identity of an individual whose name is either unknown or intentionally withheld.
